Fragments of the Missing Manual
The Social Iceberg
I posted to my High School Alumni group the other day. It was my first post to this group.
I didn’t know I was forming an iceberg…
It’s What Works for Me
I’m not big on quotes, or cliché.
I usually don’t go in for idioms or figures of speech and other assorted Redewendungen.
Unless an Aspie or someone thought to be an Aspie coined it.
One I like, though is:
So what? – Andy Warhol
Here’s what:
If you’ve met one of us;…
Imagine purchasing 20 computers.
You distribute those machines to twenty people and you tell them:
Go enjoy.
Do with these as you wish.
And, three years later you come back to those people and offer them an upgrade, if they give you the old machines—which they happily do.
What would you expect to find when you examined the 20 machines?
No Shortage of Experts
The more time I spend on FB the more amazed I am at all the experts.
Many of the posts, videos and ads start with versions of:
- All these people do this….
- All those people do that….
Essays added periodically.
